Everyone Is An Artist is proud to introduce the Jordan Village Artist Residency (JVAR), a semi-rural artist incubator rooted in creativity, collaboration, and connection. Jordan Village is located in the Township of Lincoln, Ontario, Canada. JVAR is a new initiative dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists, of all ages. Offering them the time, space, and resources to create, explore, and grow in a peaceful and supportive environment.
JVAR begins in summer 2025 and is designed as a long-term, evolving project that will welcome many artists in the years to come. As each artist visits, creates, and connects, they’ll leave behind not only new work, but a meaningful mark on the story of Jordan Village. Together, we are building a legacy rooted in care, creativity, and community. This residency program comes at no cost for the participating Artist. For this residency to thrive, we’re calling on you, our neighbours to help build a living network of local support that all of us can rely on.
JVAR’s mission is simple: to offer artists the chance to create freely and to connect deeply with nature, with their practice, and with the people around them. Jordan is a rare place that is safe, welcoming, rich with history, and full of possibility. Through open workshops, artist talks, community gatherings, and spontaneous adventures, we hope to weave a network of mutual support between residents and visiting artists.
Ways You Can Get Involved:
Whether you’re a maker, educator, artist, gardener, storyteller, or supporter, JVAR invites you to participate in whatever way feels natural to you. Building on exchange, not performance, we know everyone has something to offer.
JVAR is led by village resident Kyle Kofsky, a multidisciplinary artist, producer, and creative director, through his agency Everyone Is An Artist. With 20+ years of experience supporting artists and producing community-based art projects, Kyle brings mentorship, production skills, and a deep commitment to equity and care. JVAR reflects his belief that when artists are supported the entire cultural landscape benefits.
We would love to hear from you! This is one of many projects we are bringing to the area. Whether you’d like to participate, collaborate, attend an event, apply as an artist, or simply learn more, please reach out. Thank you for welcoming this new chapter. Together, we can build something truly special—now and for the future.
Warmly,
The JVAR Team
